Purchase order terms for category Plants and flowers
Deutsche Messe offers services from the Plants & Flowers portfolio either for sale or for rent via the service partner it has commissioned.
1.1 Counter bowl/vase, tabletop plant/vase
These are available for purchase only. The price includes a white ceramic planter or glass vase. The arrangement varies by season, and is at the discretion of our service partner. The photos shown in the shop are design examples.
Set floral/foliage arrangements in counter vases come in three sizes, each with white calla lilies, green trimmings, and glass pebbles.
About 25 cm high x 14 cm dia.: 3 calla lilies
About 40 cm high x 18 cm dia.: 5 calla lilies
About 60 cm high x 20 cm dia.: 7 calla lilies
Alternatively, you may request a quotation for a custom floral/foliage combination or arrangement for a counter vase by contacting the service partner.
1.2 Potted bowls or vases for the floor
These are available for rent only.
Set floral/foliage arrangements in potted bowls come in two sizes, each with a foliage plant (choice of ficus benjamina, howea fosteriana, or prunus laurocerasus) on a bed of small green/colorful plants in a white planter.
Set floral/foliage arrangements in vases for the floor come with vases in a variety of colors (anthracite matt, glossy white or black), with heights of 140 cm, 160 cm, or 220 cm, in arrangements as described below. All these include a plant of your choice in a high-quality Lechuza vase with moss cover hiding the soil and inside planter.
The following plants come in set floral/foliage arrangements in vases for the floor:
140 cm high: choice of a round buxus sempervirens, zamioculcas, or spathiphyllum
160 cm high: choice of a round buxus sempervirens, strelitziaceae, or prunus laurocerasus
220 cm high: choice of howea fosteriana, phyllostachus bissetii, or prunus laurocerasus
Alternatively, you may request a quotation for a custom floral/foliage combination or arrangement for potted bowls or vases for the floor by contacting the service partner.
A glass vase is included in the price for each counter and tabletop vase.
1.3 Room dividers
You can rent our planters as room dividers, in either a high-quality white synthetic material or anthracite-colored stone & concrete. Our standard versions come with densely-potted ferns or Zamioculcas, and have a moss cover.
You can also request special plants through our service partner, who will gladly submit a quote (also see 2. Special requests)

Room divider, synthetic: standard size 95 x 40 cm, total height of about 125 cm with ferns, or about 140 cm with Zamioculcas
Room divider, stone & concrete: standard size 100 x 40 cm, total height of about 110 cm with ferns, or about 140 cm with Zamioculcas
1.4 Foliage plants
These are available for rent only. If instead of the standard pot (white or terracotta) included in the rental price, one is to be provided as desired (e.g. ceramic, stainless steel, colored, etc.), this can be ordered in the "Planters and soil covers" section. Alternatively, you may request a quotation from our service partner for foliage plants of other sizes not included in our Shop catalog.
1.5 Bouquets of flowers and other floral arrangements
These are available for purchase only. Our service provider will be pleased to send a quotation for any custom arrangement with your preferences for color, style, size, and floral combination.
2. Special requests
We are always open to special requests concerning any of our articles, especially vases/bowls for counters and the floor, and our room dividers. Please state your special requirements in the Comments field. If you require items not in our standard line of products, such as other foliage plants, planters, and decorative items or flowers/plants for your stand, please describe them in the Quotation for special requests section. Our service partner will contact you and accordingly submit a quotation.
For all quotation requests: our service partner will attempt to fulfill special requests, depending on availability of seasonal flowers/plants, etc. Exhibitors have no legal right to fulfillment!
3. Orders
Deutsche Messe renders services through its service partner in line with the order placed in our Shop. We cannot guarantee that late orders will be fulfilled as requested. Deutsche Messe and its service partner shall not be liable for rendering the contractual services in the event of circumstances beyond their control, operational disruptions, etc.
4. Delivery
Requests for delivery dates of ordered items will be fulfilled if possible, but no legal claims can be derived from failure to do so. Goods ordered without a specified delivery date/time shall be delivered on time before the event starts. Upon delivery, the service partner shall not be responsible for verifying the identity/authorization of any person met at the stand, and may deliver the order at an unoccupied stand. Deutsche Messe shall not be liable for delivery, if hindered by events beyond its control.
5. Special conditions for rentals
5.1 Rented goods are provided only for the contractual purpose and duration (max: until the event is over). If rented goods are not ready for pickup by the service provider after the event is over, we shall bill the renter for extra costs incurred, unless the rental period was contractually extended in writing. The right to claim further damages incurred by the service partner shall remain in force.
5.2 Unless otherwise agreed upon, the rented goods shall be picked up as soon as possible after the event is over, whereby the renter shall ensure that the goods are ready for pickup.
If the renter causes a delay in delivery or pickup of the rented goods, Deutsche Messe reserves the right to bill the renter for any extra costs incurred. The exhibitor shall be liable for the rented goods from the time of delivery or handover at the stand until pickup by the service partner, even if the stand is unoccupied. The exhibitor shall be liable for damage to or loss of the rented goods, up to their replacement value. Deutsche Messe reserves the right to claim damages from the exhibitor for any default/delay and/or for non-payment of the rental charge. The exhibitor's liability shall expire three hours after the event is over, unless the rented goods were not ready for pickup or the parties agreed upon a different pickup time.
5.3 Liability on the part of the service partner or Deutsche Messe for damage to property or personal injury in connection with the use of the rented goods is excluded, unless Deutsche Messe can be proven to have acted with intent or gross negligence.
6. Complaints
You shall ensure that the ordered goods are faultless and complete when delivered. You must report any missing articles in writing on the first day of the event. You must file a complaint in writing to Deutsche Messe and the service partner within 24 hours of delivery, otherwise the goods shall be deemed faultless, complete, and delivered, whereby no later claims shall be accepted.
7. Substitution
Justified complaints oblige and entitle Deutsche Messe to rectify the defect or to supply a replacement of equal or greater value at the same price. Termination of the contract or reduction of the remuneration is only possible if the rectification has failed.
Pricing terms for category Plants and flowers
Unless otherwise stated, prices are net prices plus statutory VAT.
Only the prices shown on the order form or order screen on the day of the order apply. These are also listed in the confirmation of receipt of the order, which the exhibitor automatically receives immediately after placing his order.
Deutsche Messe shall bill you for the services rendered.
All prices cover rental over the duration of the event and include delivery and pickup, whereby extra charges apply to extended rental periods.
