Purchase order terms for category Electricity supply halls
The provision of the connection point is possible at any place within the stand on the floor without additional costs. Please indicate the desired location for the connection point on an attached sketch of your stand.
Depending on the power rating you have ordered, your connection points up to 68 kW will be delivered in the form of flexible cables with a 5-pole CEE plug-in connector for 16 A (10 kW), 32 A (20 kW) or 63 A (40 kW), 125 A (68 kW). Connections up to 3 kW (230 V/16 A) are provided as a flexible cable with a 3-pole protective contact coupling.
Safety
For all electrical installations and equipment that exhibitors intend to operate at their stands using the main power supply, an Installation Certificate must be submitted by the electrical technician who performed the installation work, together with a copy of the technician's certificate of qualification to perform such work. All touchable, conducting items (including rigg constructions) have to be grounded, test logs in accordance with German accident prevention regulation DGUV3 must be generated and supplied on request. The power supply to the stand will not be activated until these requirements have been met.
If you intend to install your own distribution at the electrical connections of the stand, it is mandatory that the distribution are equipped with a functional residual current devices (RCDs) with a nominal fault current of up to a maximum of 30 mA. Alternatively, you can rent a distribution solution from Deutsche Messe. Please also observe the Technical Regulations of Deutsche Messe.
After providing the required documentation, an authorized electrician commissioned by Deutsche Messe will carry out a visual and functional inspection. The cost of this inspection is covered by the connection charge.
Sketch of stand
In order to be able to provide an offer as well as to carry out the electrical work it is necessary that you submit a sketch of the installation you require.
Power consumption/electricity meter
Electricity consumption is determined by calibrated meters for connections where consumption is not included. Exhibitors are free to bring their own electrical meter(s), or to rent one from Deutsche Messe. If the total power of the individual connections is more than 20 kW, a meter must be provided for each connection.
Liability
Except in cases of intent or gross negligence, Deutsche Messe accepts no liability for any damage associated with the performance of electrical installation services or with any malfunctioning of the electrical supply or the supply network.

Unless otherwise stated, prices are net prices plus statutory VAT.
Only the prices shown on the order form or order screen on the day of the order apply. These are also listed in the confirmation of receipt of the order, which the exhibitor automatically receives immediately after placing his order.
The installation work will be invoiced by Deutsche Messe as part of your supplementary services invoice, together with the connection charges and the actual power consumption charges. The connection fee is assessed according to the requested connection value. If the actual installed capacity is greater than the requested capacity, the connection fee will be based on the installed capacity.
If additional expenses are incurred due to late orders or changes to the originally ordered capacity, Deutsche Messe reserves the right to pass on these expenses to the exhibitor.
We guarantee you a power outlet with a maximum rating of 300 W/m² of stand space in the halls and 100 W/m² on the open-air site. If you exceed these limits, we reserve the right to bill you for extra power usage.
