Comp. air supply, connection point 1"

Need compressed air for your exhibits or machines? Our halls offer compressed air lines in various sizes.

Please note:

1. You pay for all connections PLUS consumption
2. The normal operating pressure is 8 to 10 bar
3. Maximum flow rates:

• Compressed air line 1/2": 500 liters/min
• Compressed air line 3/4": 1,000 liters/min
• Compressed air line 1"   : 2,000 liters/min
• Compressed air line 1 1/4": 4,000 liters/min

General
Compressed air connections with a nominal bore of 1/2" to 1" are available in our halls for operating your exhibited machinery. A larger nominal bore of 1 1/4" is also available in halls 3-9, 11-17 and 22-27. The location of the compressed air supply point within the stand depends on the type of stand and its location in the hall.
In pavilions and on the open-air site, you may set up soundproofed, electrical compressors at your stand, provided the noise level at the stand boundary does not exceed 60 dB(A).

Connection points
The location of the connection points is shown on the rental diagram, based on general rules as described in items a) to c) below.
The location of the connection points depends on the following variables:

a) If the stand has a supply channel:
Then the connection point can be located anywhere above the channel

b) If the stand has a permanently installed supply point:
Then the connection point will be located right there

c) If there is neither a supply channel nor an installed supply point, the connection point will be located:
In the middle of the rear stand boundary - for a row stand open on one side
In the middle of the side stand boundary - for a row stand open on two sides
At the corner of the rear stand boundary - for an end stand open on two sides
In the middle of the rear stand boundary - for a stand open on three sides
In the middle of the stand space - for a stand open on four sides

Additional installation
The exhibitor will be charged for the cost of hooking up at any location other than as described under a) to c) and for any extra services requested on-site. For connections at other locations than described under a) to c), the lines are laid above ground. 
If the exhibitor brings his own shut-off valves or connection pipes and installs the connections himself, these additional installation charges will not apply. There will however be a charge for the required inspection by Deutsche Messe.

Sketch of stand
To carry out the necessary installation work, we require a sketch of the desired scope of installations.

Liability
Except in cases of intentional acts and omissions and gross negligence, Deutsche Messe accepts no liability whatsoever for any damage or loss suffered in relation to the provision of compressed air systems installation services, or in relation to disruptions in the supply of compressed air or faults in the supply network.

Unless otherwise stated, prices are net prices plus statutory VAT.

Only the prices shown on the order form or order screen on the day of the order apply. These are also listed in the confirmation of receipt of the order, which the exhibitor automatically receives immediately after placing his order.

Invoicing
Hookup and consumption charges depend on the quantity and nominal bores of the installed connection points. Deutsche Messe will include the charges for installation at the stand as well as hookup and compressed air consumption in the invoice for supplementary services issued after the event. Deutsche Messe reserves the right to bill you for any extra effort caused for any changes made to the original order.

Orders may be cancelled only until the start of stand construction for the event.
