Please do not leave the rental goods unattended at the stand after the end of the trade fair. Liability lies with you as the renter until return - but no later than 24 hours after the end of the event - as described in the purchase order terms.
Please note that the ordered items will be delivered on the selected delivery day during the course of the day. A time frame can be requested directly from Rent.Group. Please note that if we receive a high volume of requests, we may not be able to guarantee an exact response time.

Rental letting agreement
The rental objects are made available only for the purpose and time period agreed upon. An extension of the rental period requires the written consent of Deutsche Messe as lessor. Deutsche Messe uses the services of a service provider to perform its contractual obligations. The lessor is entitled to charge an additional rental, should the rental objects not be available to him at the time agreed upon. The lessor's assertion of any further compensation claim remains untouched. Useful changes of indicated dimensions, shapes and colours remain reserved.

Delivery and collection
The delivery of all orders without an indicated delivery date are carried out early enough for the rental objects to be available at the event's start. Please note that products from the category rental furniture can be delivered at the earliest 3 days before the fair. Earlier dates are excluded. The rental goods are provided assembled on the stand. The handover takes place either by signature of the lessee on the delivery bill or via a photo protocol if no contact person can be found on site at the time of delivery. After the end of the event, the rental property will be collected by the lessor as soon as possible. The lessee shall make the leased goods available ready for collection as well as freely accessible. If the delivery or collection of the rented goods is prevented by culpable conduct on the part of the lessee, a charge of at least EUR 179.00 shall be incurred for the additional journey, transport and personnel costs. In addition, the lessor reserves the right to make a further subsequent charge if there is a loss of turnover due to the missing rental goods. Self-collectors are advised that the rental goods may only be transported in closed vehicles suitable for this purpose and with and in the transport boxes used by the lessor and intended for the rental goods. Electrical devices will be delivered to the stand. Instruction and commissioning will take place on the last set-up day of the event.

Ordering water and electricity supply
The necessary connections for electrical and water supply are to be ordered in the appropriate service categories in the shop.

Liability and compensation
The lessee shall be liable for any damage to, destruction or loss of the hired goods. The rental goods must be made available for collection by the end of the event at the latest. For lost or destroyed rental goods, the lessee will be held liable directly by Deutsche Messe's service provider (Party Rent Hannover) to the amount of the replacement value according to the manufacturer's list price. Deutsche Messe has assigned its claims against the lessee to the service provider in this respect. In the event of damage, the cost of repair will be due, provided this does not exceed the replacement value, plus a 10 % compensation for expenses.
This does not affect assertion of claims for damages caused by delayed performance on the part of the lessee. Payment of the rental is also unaffected by this. Liability by the lessee begins with delivery to the exhibition stand and ends with collection from there. This also applies if the booth is not occupied. Liability ends at the latest 24 hours after the end of the event, unless the rental goods were not made available ready for collection or another collection date was agreed in writing. Any liability on the part of the lessor for possible damages to property or persons in connection with usage of the rented object is excluded, unless the lessor is demonstrated to have been guilty of malicious intent or gross negligence.

Defects and substitute delivery
When taking over the leased goods, the lessee shall satisfy himself of their proper condition and completeness and shall give notice of defects without delay. Any damage must be reported to the lessor within one day after the delivery date. Otherwise, the absence of defects shall be deemed confirmed. In the event of a justified complaint, the lessor is entitled to supply a replacement of equal or higher value at the same price. Claims cannot be enforced on such substitute deliveries. The lessor is relieved from his delivery obligation if he is prevented from delivering by force majeure. After collection by the lessor, the lessor shall report and invoice repair costs or replacements to the lessee within 10 business days.

Prices include delivery of the assembled rental goods, collection of the goods and taking away the empty boxes/transport systems. The invoicing will be effected together with any other supplement services.
